DESIGN: Our Sacral Chakra waistbeads are stranded with a mix of opaque terra cotta, silver lined coral beads, and opaque coral beads with pops of tangerine bicone beads. The attractive middle focal point features natural Balinese carnelian, the sacred crystal in Indonesia.

CHAKRA LOCATION: Lower abdomen, below the navel.

WHAT IT INFLUENCES: Creative expression, passion, desire, pleasure, sensuality, sexuality.

 The 2^nd chakra is the sacral chakra, a significant part of our every day experience. Motivated by pleasure, it’s the driving force for the enjoyment of life through the senses, whether it’s auditory, through taste, touch, or sight. Opening your sacral chakra allows you to “feel” the world around and in us. As such, it’s an important chakra at the foundation of our feeling of well-being and an important control center. When sacral chakras are open, people tend to be more aware of their emotions and what they want to accomplish. This results in a more fulfilling life because of an enhanced sense of purpose. When the sacral chakra is balanced, the relationship with the world and other people is centered around nurturing, pleasure, harmonious exchange.  Imbalace in the sacral chakra can manifest as dependency, co-dependency with other people or a substance that grants you easy access to pleasure, being ruled by your emotions or feeling numb/out of touch with yourself and how you feel, overindulgence in fantasies, sexual obsessions or lack of sexual desire/satisfaction, feeling stuck in a particular feeling or mood. One of the most effective ways to rebalance your sacral chakra is simply doing things you know you enjoy. Sometimes in the chaos of everyday routines, you forget the things that made you happy. By returning back to your roots and doing things that you know make you happy, you can begin the process of healing your imbalanced chakra.
